It’s Wednesday night and I’ve completed my very last final. What a great feeling. Too bad it’s overpowered by the feeling of exhaustion. I have all summer and fall to go, and while I feel up for the marathon, this past week was a killer. I think I just wanted to be done with these particular classes (Economics and Financial Management- barf). I will miss my law class and comparative lit class. They treated me well. I didn’t mention my sex and gender class because I’m taking a women studies class starting in a week.
I am so very very tired tonight.
I’ll give myself 24 hours to do nothing but veg, then I’ll look forward to the summer.
Items of Business in upcoming weeks:
- Start spring class- Women Studies- hopefully it won’t be too time consuming nor demanding.
- Schedule my next cardiologist appointment- tell him my compression stocks are great and I’m ready for my surgery.
- Clean my room- I’ve been putting this off for 2 weeks now in the name of finals.
- Laundry- how do I have so much clothes?
- Put in maybe 4 hours a week at the law firm. Perhaps 10-15 at ACAFS; we just opened a new office in American Fork so I’ll be working from there a bit this summer.
- Polish off “One L” and begin The Brothers Karamazov- that’ll last me a while because most of my time will be spent….
- LSAT LSAT LSAT LSAT!!
I need to be giving it EVERYTHING and then some. If I don’t study at least a little everyday, then I’m slacking. I should make some goals… maybe like Logic games every other day, then reading every other other day. If I knew what was good for me I’d sit down and take a timed 4 hr test maybe 3 times a week. I have enough tests to keep up that pace. As long as I don’t get burnt out. Push too little, you’re not motivated and lose. Push too hard, you get burnt out and lose. With just the right amount of stress you can get where you need to go.
But that can all wait til tomorrow. For now I’m going to recline on my bed, stare at the ceiling and listen to myself breath.
