Well… I’m a college student at Brigham Young University, in Provo Utah, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka LDS or Mormon). I’m studying clinical and developmental psychology and a minor in business. I spend my time between class, mentoring at a local mental disorder treatment center, and working with high-conflict divorce cases in visitation rights. In my free time (can also be read: when I’m ignoring studying), I like to watch CNN, struggle to teach myself the piano, read for pleasure, and blog.
Within the membership of my church, people are encouraged to keep journals as a personal history. Something for you to enjoy down the road and pass on to your children and your children’s children. I have always been weary to write down everything I think or feel during a day because I know myself too well. However, when I was introduced to the idea of blogging, I find that I enjoy it a lot. I started out at Blogspot.com but recently (Feb 2008) discovered WordPress with it’s enhanced features and made the switch. I guess I’ll write my two cents on topics I enjoy and see if anyone out there feels like reading it.
One final note: I greatly enjoy comments and debate, so let me know what you’re thinking and I’ll post a reply.
(In the picture is myself, my sister, and my brother. I have one more brother who is living in Sao Paulo Brazil; ironically the same city I lived in for two years.)
To Whom it would concern
Pardon me for being somewhat ignorant, i could not find a proper name to address. Im not sure if this is even the right contact but i’ll give it a shot. My name is Tom Porowski, i am a music major, but i am writing an Analytical Text in English.
I came across your wonderfully written article about the joker. I myself am writing a Psychoanalysis based upon the character.. I wanted to know if, of course with the proper citations, if i could refer to your idea on the twitching and connection to his mother.
If alright, i would like to include that. If so, Just your name and date of the original post of the article. I would appreciate the permission.
Thank You
Tom Porowski
Sorry to take so long to respond Tom, thanks for your support and feel free to borrow anything you’d like.
